Jamie Gjerde is a senior computer scientist on the GPU team for After Effects. He has been at Adobe for over 10 years and has worked on a wide range of video and audio processing technology that is present in many different Adobe applications. Before coming to Adobe, Jamie worked on music performance assessment software. While working for the University of Minnesota after earning his degree, he was part of the early development for the Croquet Project, an SDK for creating applications in an immersive multi-user 3D environment that was implemented in Squeak. He currently resides in Seattle, Washington.
