Daniel Roten

Computational Scientist, SDSC

Speaker Bio

Daniel Roten is a computational scientist at San Diego State University. He has extensive experience in computational seismology and strong ground motion during earthquakes, with an emphasis and nonlinear soil behavior. Previously he was a senior research assistant at ETH Zurich and a postdoctoral researcher at San Diego State University. He has a Ph.D. in seismology and an M.Sc. in Geophysics from ETH Zurich.
