Kyunghyun Paeng

Research Scientist, Lunit Inc.

Speaker Bio

Kyunghyun Paeng is a Ph.D. student in the School of Electrical Engineering at KAIST, South Korea, and a co-founder and research scientist at Lunit Inc. During his graduate study at KAIST, Kyunghyun conducted research on various computer vision areas, including multi-view geometry and object recognition with deep neural network. Based on his expertise, he participated in ILSVRC two times in 2014 and 2015, and won seventh and fifth place for the cls-loc task, respectively. He also won first place in all tasks in Tumor Proliferation Assessment Challenge 2016, MICCAI Grand Challenge. Kyunghyun received his B.S. in 2011 from the School of Electrical Engineering at KAIST.
