Meifeng Lin

Associate Computational Scientist, Brookhaven National Laboratory

Speaker Bio

Meifeng Lin is a computational scientist at the Computational Science Initiative of Brookhaven National Laboratory, Upton, New York. Most of her research involves the heavy use of high-performance computers to perform Monte Carlo simulations and large-scale data analysis. Prior to joining Brookhaven National Laboratory in 2013, she held positions in Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Yale University, Boston University, and Argonne National Laboratory. Meifeng obtained her Ph.D. in theoretical particle physics from Columbia University, and has worked on many research projects aimed at understanding the fundamental particle interactions in nature and their effects on our visible world.
