Lars Bishop has been chasing interesting graphics problems for almost 30 years since his first hackings on an Atari 400 (in Pilot). For the past 12 years, he has been a developer technologies engineer for NVIDIA, focusing on mobile devices, rendering, cameras, and Android application and OS development. Prior to NVIDIA, he spent a decade with Numerical Design Limited, developing the NetImmerse/Gamebryo cross-platform game engine. He received degrees from Brown University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the 1990s. He is a co-author of the book "Essential Mathematics for Games and Interactive Applications."
