Massimiliano (Max) Meneghin is a Research Scientist in the Computational Science Research Group at Autodesk. His research focuses on high performance computing and especially on parallel data structures and optimizations for shared memory and accelerated architectures. Before joining Autodesk in 2015, Max worked at IBM Research Dublin, first as a Research Engineer in the Hybrid System Team and then as a Research Scientist in the High Performance System Team. At IBM Massimiliano was involved in performance and scalability analysis of big data analytics frameworks, in the design of a programming environment for IBM PowerEN system-on-a-chip and in the optimization of Indir (information retrieval tool leveraged by IBM Watson system). In 2010, Massimiliano received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Pisa with a thesis on an optimization theory for structured stencil-based data parallel applications.
