Luke de Oliveira

Visiting Researcher, Berkeley Lab

Speaker Bio

Luke de Oliveira is a visiting researcher at Berkeley Lab, where he works on deep learning for generative modeling and particle physics phenomenology. Luke is a partner at Manifold (manifold.ai), an AI product development lab, where he works on using cutting-edge deep learning to solve high value problems for leading companies. Previously, Luke worked at Enlitic, CERN, and SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. Luke did his graduate studies at Stanford, where he worked on character-level natural language processing and computer vision in high energy physics, and earned his undergraduate degree in Applied Mathematics from Yale University.
