Speaker Bio

Fangde Liu is a research associate from Imperial College London, currently head of imaging imformatics. His work focuses on bringing autonomous technology to daily clinical practices, such as surgical robots and pharmacovigilance systems. He is the architect of the surgical navigation system of EDEN2020, which is the largest surgical robots project in the EU, and currently manages several medical imaging big data projects for cardiology disease quantification and neurology pharmacovigilance. Fangde is an expert on GPU and parallel computing and has contributed many technologies for medical imaging processing and surgery planning with GPUs. SurgicalAI is a startup that provides autonomous surgery planning and patient-specific medical devices designed with a GPU cloud.
