Mark H. Michalski, M.D., is the executive director of the MGH & BWH Center for Clinical Data Science, which is focused on the application and translation of novel machine learning techniques into clinical practice. Previously, Mark contributed to early-stage companies in the medical software and device domain, holding various leadership and operational roles encompassing commercial strategy, product development, and clinical and regulatory activities. He held additional strategic roles in healthcare-focused efforts at Google and Genentech. Mark completed his radiology residency training as a Holman Fellow at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He graduated with a degree in cybernetics from the University of California at Los Angeles with multiple honors and received his medical degree from Stanford University.
