Martin Bujnak received his Ph.D. in computer vision, machine learning, and pattern recognition at the Centre of Machine Perception at the Czech Technical University in Prague in 2012 in the Maria Currie Research Training Program - VISIONTRAIN. His research focuses on camera calibration, camera pose estimation, algebraic geometry, and pattern recognition. Martin has published several research papers. He spent five years at Microsoft, starting as a senior developer and qualified for a principal developer. He worked on projects like Photosynth, Xbox Avatars, and live services. Before starting his Ph.D. studies, he designed and implemented the core funcionality of TrueSpace 3D modeling software and founded a company for real-time computer visualizations, which he later sold.
