John Hubbard

Speaker Bio

John Hubbard is a technical lead for the Unified Memory kernel driver team on Linux at NVIDIA, which he first joined in 2007 as a Linux kernel driver engineer. John has held various systems software programming jobs previously, as well as some C++ user space projects, and sysadmin roles (much earlier), over the last 20+ years. He spent eight years as an unrestricted line officer in the U.S. Navy's submarine force, including two years as an instructor in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, preparing junior officers for their engineering certification exams), finishing up as the combat systems officer of the USS Bluefish (SSN 675).
